Whilst raising awareness for depression in March, Mitch raised over $100,000 during the 12h event for the bereaved family of Craig Percival. Craig (a patient of Mitch’s) died of a heart attack in 2016. In addition, the focus of the media coverage was to raise awareness for depression. Mitch helped raise $2.7 million dollars for BCNA (Breast Cancer Network Australia) by riding to Perth (from Melbourne) with The Footy Show star, Shane Crawford, in 2014.
